Great work in our patio.

I had an 18×25 deck supported on concrete piers over a pond. The deck was deteriorating and needed to be removed. I had a lot of trouble finding someone who could do the work. Many I contacted just didn’t know how to deal with it since it was over a pond. I called Rich and he came out within a couple of days to look at. He knew exactly how to remove it, and gave me a quote a few days later. I also needed some other minor excavation work done and Rich quoted that as well. Rich is an artist with his big backhoe. He had the deck, concrete piers and all, out of the pond about an hour after arriving at the site. He made it look easy. He then cut it up and loaded the pieces into a dumpster for disposal. Rich had planned to finish in one day but the dumpster company failed to deliver the dumpster until late afternoon (dumpster company’s fault, not Rich’s) so Rich had to return the next day to finish the work. I would not hesitate to recommend Rich for any kind of excavation work. He is experienced and professional. He calls when he says he will, and shows up when he says he will. He gave me a lot of useful advice about my other excavation work and things he noticed about my property. People who know how hard it is to find good contractors should call Rich when they need excavation work done.
